I handed a letter from a consultant in to the reception at the beginning of the week to be reviewed by the doctor and a prescription to be issued for a newly diagnosed chronic condition, a week on and the letter has still not been passed to the doctor to be reviewed. There doesn't seem to be any urgency or organisation where paperwork is involved.
I needed to follow up three times on a referral letter initially as each time details had been misplaced and not passed on to the GP.
I couldn't fault the majority of the GP's I have managed to speak to, but the administration side is sadly lacking.

Some of the receptionists can be vry dismisive and discourteous whereas the others are really helpful and caring

Calling through is proving more difficult. I tried 4 times on riday to call through for today's appointment
